Adopt a Meal

As we embark on our 50th Anniversary, we invite you to join us in our fight to reduce food insecurity and social isolation among our homebound neighbors by adopting a meal for someone in need. A gift of just $10 makes a positive impact, and giving is simple. Click the link below to make a one-time or recurring gift and provide a homebound Galveston resident with nutritious meals and friendly smiles.

Did you know?

*Nearly 90% of our recipients are unable to contribute to the cost of their meals. However, no one is denied service due to inability to pay.

*A gift of just $6 provides a hot meal for a homebound Galvestonian who, due to age or infirmity, cannot adequately prepare their own meals.

*We serve 200 elderly, infirm and disabled galveston residents every weekday, including holidays.

*For many of our meal recipients, their interaction with our volunteer may be the only contact they have with someone outside their home.

*All of our meals are delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers.

We Provide:

Daily well-balanced, nutritious meals to Galveston citizens who are unable to prepare or secure meals for themselves;

Daily interaction with those served through visits of the volunteers who deliver the meals.
